Biome Comforting Infused Toner

We are so excited to officially introduce our new Biome Comforting Infused Toner to you. With toner being the first product you use after cleanser, it is crucial that the formulation is nourishing, gentle, and skin-balancing. We wanted to ensure that our toner was all of those things. With our new ay&me focusing around strengthening our skin barrier and optimizing the health of our skin’s microbiome, we featured probiotics, more specifically our Special Biome Blend.

With a quick shake of the bottle, you can see the nourishing bubbles form; a thick effervescence of bubbles forms within the liquid, moving upwards almost as if in slow motion. These nourishing bubbles help to improve the water-oil balance of the skin. The nourishing bubbles themselves are formed by a combination of prebiotics, probiotics, mugwort extract, and centella asiatica extract, and shaking the bottle before applying this toner can help to add an extra “refreshing” feeling to the formula.

The watery texture of the toner spreads easily over the skin and can be spread either with a cotton pad or simply with your hands. Apply an adequate amount of the toner to a cotton pad and your hands and gently pat it into your skin, letting it absorb all over your face. You will notice a woody and warm scent, noticeably there upon first application but fading within minutes. The soothing sensation from the refreshing toner combined with the woody scent provides almost a luxurious spa-like skincare experience. The toner absorbs quickly and easily into the skin, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and supple, and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine.

This toner features our Special Biome Blend, which is a formulation of 5 different prebiotics and probiotics which help to brighten the skin and improve skin barrier health, giving the skin a rejuvenated glow. In our toner we also featured the soothing and calming ingredients Mugwort and Centella Asiatica, key players in many of our products. We wanted to create a gentle nourishing toner which would soothe the skin whilst strengthening the skin barrier, giving your skin a healthy glow after every use.
