HOW TO USE

Not for melanated skin at all

I appreciate the benefits, esp given that I'm beginning tretinoin and the soothing ingredients are important. However, it definitely makes my skin ashy and dry; and no matter how well I rub it in, the white cast is noticeable. It isn't as obvious once it dries down, but again, it's obvious enough. I have oily skin, but I actually feel a need to apply a light moisturizer before using this just so it won't feel too drying. I can say my favorite part about this sunscreen is the packaging because the tube makes application much quicker and easier, so I experience less resistance wanting to apply and reapply everyday as I would some other sunscreens that require 1-2 more steps. I wish other companies would follow suit, actually. I REALLY wish this one worked for me. It's too bad how often our skin isn't considered as important but it's nothing new.

The Best

This sunscreen doesn't feel sticky and it's light

So close!

It does leave a slight white, ghastly film. Not a big deal for me since I do wear makeup more often than not! Overall, I love the formula, it spreads nicely on the skin, and when properly absorbed it doesn't pill underneath makeup. The finish is satin-like, not obnoxiously shiny and I find the new version (V3) more hydrating than the previous one. I just wish so, so badly that it didn't contain Niacinamide. Please, please make a niacinamide free version! <\3 It's so hard these days to find a spf without it!
