5.5 Skincare Community Day: 2020
We wanted 2020’s 5.5 Skincare Community Day to be even better than the last. And to show how much of a difference we, as a skincare community, can make—we ran a fundraiser to donate the proceeds to a charity of our community’s choice!
We hoped that on this meaningful day, the skincare community will come together to not only share appreciation, but show how we can come together from all over the world for a great cause.
We asked our community to comment on our dedicated 5.5 Skincare Community Day Instagram post and tag the skincare educator, reviewer, or friend that helped them on their skincare journeys.
Every comment contributed $0.50 USD to our fundraiser and we were successfully able to raise $378 USD to the charity of our community’s choice: Wildlife Conservation Society.
We are so proud of the efforts made by the skincare community and we cannot wait to see how much we can raise together for next year’s 5.5 Skincare Community Day!
Since 2019, we have dedicated May 5th (from pH 5.5, our skin’s natural pH level for healthy skin) as Skincare Community Day—a day to celebrate our skincare community and recognize those that have inspired us in our skincare journeys.
5.5 Skincare Community Day is a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty bloggers, reviewers, and educators who have guided us on how to take care of our skin and allow others to discover them to enlighten their personal journeys.
